Multi-state Super Lice Fighters Bring the Battle Against Super Lice to Phoenix Area

No Nit Noggins, part of Lice Clinics of America network provides guaranteed, one-and-done lice treatments using FDA-cleared medical device

Mike Brehm and Phil Brechting have made it their mission to eradicate head lice. Our motto is, “Mike and Phil find lice a thrill,” Mike joked.

It’s a good thing, too as the advent of “super lice”—lice that are resistant to the pesticides used in the most popular over-the-counter lice products—have proliferated, head lice are increasingly hard to beat. The most recent study, published in the Journal of Medical Entomology in 2016, found that 98 percent of lice in most states are now immune to the products.

Mike and Phil are taking over two Lice Clinics of America® treatment centers in the Phoenix area, adding to their network of 10 clinics throughout the country. Their clinics use the name No Not Noggins, and offer treatment using Lice Clinics of America’s AirAllé®, an FDA-cleared Class I medical device that kills both head lice and their eggs (nits) using precision-controlled heated air to dehydrate the bugs and their eggs. The device has been clinically shown to kill live lice and more than 99 percent of eggs.

“It all started when my daughter got head lice, and we were treated with the AirAllé at a Lice Clinics of America clinic, and she was lice-free in an hour,” Mike said. “Since then we’ve been on a mission to eradicate head lice, and we’re coming to Glendale and Scottsdale.”

“With more than 400,000 treatments done worldwide and less than a 1 percent re-treatment rate, we know it works,” Mike said. “This is the treatment option that ensures you will leave lice-free with no follow-up required.”

The AirAllé is equally effective against super lice because it doesn’t rely on pesticides or any other chemical.

The Glendale clinic is located at 170 W Camino San Xavier Suite D116, and the Scottsdale clinic is located at 8060 E Gelding Drive Suite 102. Both clinics are open seven days per week, by appointment only.

With more than 300 clinics in 36 countries, Lice Clinics of America (www.LiceClinicsOfAmerica.com) is the largest network of professional head-lice-treatment centers in the world. Lice Clinics of America and AirAllé (www.airalle.com) are brands owned by Larada Sciences™, Inc., which is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
